"I never liked floppy sun hats, they always remind me of old ladies in their gardens. But this one is not only fashionable but extremely useful and practical. I have lupus so the sun is really bad for me, especially my skin. It causes me to break out in rashes that are unsightly and extremely hard to get rid of. This hat provides the shade and UPF sun protection that I need. I wear knotless braids most of the time so my hair absolutely cannot get wet or it will ruin my very expensive braids so it being waterproof is a huge plus. And the hidden ponytail hole is everything. I can wear my braids down or in a ponytail. I sweat a lot so the ventilation and sweat band is awesome. It is easy to pack in a bag and the wire makes it easy to reshape. The detachable strap keeps it on my head and it is easily removed when I don't need it. I have many Hairbrella products and this is one of my favorites. And whenever you have an issue they are happy to resolve the issue for you.
