You know how we do - it's time for another exciting peek behind the curtain as we unveil the magical journey of creating our latest game-changer: the Hairbrella Swim Cap! 🚀

Now, we all know the struggle when it comes to traditional swim caps, right? It's like every manufacturer has created every possible variation of color, design and size of the swim cap, but missed the memo that we actually want to keep our hair DRY.🙆‍♀️💦

I was confused.

As you probably know by now, our mission is to provide you with the most innovative and elevated hair coverings from day to night and for every situation under the sun (or water!). From DIY projects to travel to swimming - we've got you covered! And when you think about hair protection, we want you to think of US! 🌞

So, let's talk about traditional swim caps.

Apparently, they were originally designed to reduce drag and keep hair out of swimmers' faces. Which is fine.But, 99% of the time, I'm swimming for fun and leisure...and the main reason I'd ever pass up on a day at the pool is avoiding the hassle of ruining my hair and figuring what to do with it after the pool.

The problem? There was no swim cap on the market that was adjustable.
Seriously, the one cap we buy to go underwater has no way of securely fitting around your head to keep water out?! 🤯

I was told several times that this was impossible - but you know me and my team - we don't back down from a challenge! We dove headfirst into the deep end (pun totally intended 🏊‍♀️ and started brainstorming how to redesign the swim cap to address these woes.

We went through over 35 prototype iterations and countless "eureka" moments. Trust me, it was quite the rollercoaster ride! 🎢

The most nerve-racking part? Testing!

We submerged the cap with paper towels for hours, just to make sure it stayed dry inside. And let me tell you, it's probably the driest cap to have ever taken a splash! 😎

We tested its resistance to velocity (jumping in like a canon-ball), its ability to handle big hair (goddess locs, we see you!), and its unyielding grip after long hours of wear. It's the most effective swim cap on the market - a game-changer, a hair protector extraordinaire! 🌟
